Help My Family Survive The War

Hello, I am Sameh Shurrab from the Gaza Strip, a resident of the city of Khan Yunis. I am thirty years old, married, and due to the Israeli war on Gaza, I lost my source of livelihood, and my private residence was destroyed and burned. My wife and I were preparing before the outbreak of the war to perform In vitro fertilization procedure. The samples had already been taken and frozen, but we were not able to complete Treatment and preparation for the procedure due to the war and the negative effects it left, as all aspects of life within the Gaza Strip stopped, and thus we lost the sample due to the power outage and the occupation forces storming the embryo preservation center and completely destroying it.

The war has left a negative impact on every member of my family. We lost our home because of that fierce war, and we were left with no shelter. It was completely burned, as we lost the past, present, and future by losing it. Our home, which my parents spent years of their lives working to build and equip, but it is in ruins. Less than the blink of an eye became a trace after an eye.

My father has reached retirement age and his income has become limited, barely covering his daily bread and the cost of his treatment. He suffers from cartilage pain in the fourth and fifth vertebrae in the spine. My mother is a teacher who works in the education field, which was halted in the Gaza Strip due to the fierce war, and she suffers from diabetes and its complications. And an increase in the heart rate, and the complications of diabetes increased and developed until it led to inflammation of the joints (rheumatism) due to malnutrition and the lack of appropriate treatment. I have an unmarried sister who had a source of livelihood as she was working in the field of freelance work as a graphic designer, but she stopped working. Working since the beginning of the war due to power outages and weak internet.

Therefore, we ask people of conscience to donate to us to help us survive, provide basic daily needs and try to rebuild a semblance of dignified life.

مرحبا أنا سامح شراب من قطاع غزة من سكان مدينة خانيونس أبلغ من العمر ثلاثون عاما متزوج وبسبب ظروف الحرب فقدت مصدر رزقي، وتم تدمير وحرق مسكني الخاص، كنت أستعد أنا وزوجتي قبل قيام الحرب لإجراء عملية زراعة وقد تم بالفعل سحب العينات وتجميدها لكننا لم نستطع استكمال العلاج والاستعداد للعملية بسبب الحرب وما تركته من آثار سلبية حيث توقفت كل مقومات الحياة داخل القطاع وبالتالي فقدنا العينة بسبب انقطاع التيار الكهربائي واقتحام قوات الاحتلال لمركز حفظ الأجنة وتدميره بالكامل.

لقد تركت الحرب أثرا سلبيا في نفس كل فرد من أفراد عائلتي حيث خسرنا بيتنا بسبب تلك الحرب الشرسة، ولم يتبق لنا أي مأوى، لقد تم حرقه كاملا حيث فقدنا الماضي والحاضر والمستقبل بفقدانه، بيتنا الذي قضى والداي سنوات من عمرهم يعملان على بنائه وتجهيزه لكنه في أقل من لمح البصر أصبح أثرا بعد عين .

لقد بلغ والدي سن التقاعد وأصبح دخله محدودا لا يكاد أن يغطي قوت يومه وتكليف علاجه فهو يعاني من آلام غضروف في الفقرة الرابعة والخامسة في العمود الفقري، ووالدتي معلمة تعمل في سلك التعليم الذي توقف في قطاع غزة بسبب الحرب الشعواء، وهي تعاني من مرض السكر ومضاعفاته وزيادة في ضربات القلب وقد ازدادت عليها مضاعفات مرض السكر وتطورت حتى وصلت معها لالتهابات في المفاصل ( آلام الروماتيزم) وذلك بسبب سوء التغذية وعدم توفر العلاج المناسب ، لدي أخت غير متزوجة كان لديها مصدر رزق حيث كانت تعمل في مجال العمل الحر مصممة جرافيك لكنها توقفت عن العمل منذ بداية الحرب بسبب انقطاع التيار الكهربائي وضعف شبكة الانترنت.

لذا نرجو من أصحاب الضمائر بالتبرع لنا لمساعدتنا لبناء حياتنا ومستقبلنا من جديد
