Janae Owens Memorial Fund

Janae Owens was shot and killed in a road rage incident  that also wounded her mother.  Janae had just moved to the Atlanta area a few weeks a go with her mother and twin sister hoping to have a better life than the one they left behind.  Unfortunately, her young life was cut short and life  for her mother and sister will never be the same.  

Janae was a child of God with a very strong faith in God.   She was a very bright, intelligent and lovely young lady with a vibrant and creative spirit.  Her dream was to become a photographer and to attend college in Atlanta.  She and her twin sister started ShotsByTwins a photography business that her twin sister Ja'Mya will continue as part of the legacy of her sister.

Janae was loved dearly by her mother who cared for her and her sister and did what she needed to as a single mother to care for her daughters the best she could.  This loss is tragic and senseless.  I want to do what I can to help her and Ja'Mya get back on her feet  after such a tragic event and continue with their lives and dreams as best as they can and continue ShotsByTwins.  Ja'Mya and Jocelyn will be in charge of all donations to help in whatever capacity is needed to continue their lives and dream of having a better life.
