We’re Moving!?

Due to a litany of unforeseen circumstances, we are needing to relocate, and SOON. So, this is me effectively hitting a couple of Panic Buttons. We have our eyes on an apartment here locally, and are looking at moving in on 7/30. That being said, most of the up-front costs are already taken care of. The next goals are primarily for things like:

-Getting remaining utilities hooked up (power and internet, primarily)

-Paying off current debts to cut monthly expenses down

-Acquiring basic furniture (couch, TV stand, coffee table, plates/silverware etc)

In a perfect world, I’d love to raise $5k. That would get us fully furnished, out of debt (and therefore with less worry,) and in a position of strong footing at the beginning of the lease.

But I truly think that’s an unrealistic figure given the current climate/economy/etc. However, that being said, if we were capable of raising $1k, that would be enough to get us into a comfortable state for the first month. Really we just need a little boost to get started on our own first place as a family together. Anything is appreciated, and if this doesn’t really take off I completely understand.
