Celebrating the Life of Marco Avila

Hi everyone, this fundraiser commemorates the life of Marco Avila, 61, by helping his beloved family with the vast amount of medical bills and funeral expenses.

Marco was diagnosed with Stage 4 Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer with Metastasis earlier this year in January and he fought like a warrior until his early demise this past Thursday May 30th of 2024. Though this diagnosis came at a very unexpected time and was a shock to everyone, he and his family gave it all in the battle of their lives. From Radiation Therapy to Immunotherapy, to Chemotherapy, there was nothing that they didn’t try. In the end, it was God’s will and Marco was at peace with that. He was deeply loved by his family and friends. Everyone who knew Marco was witness of his genuine care for others, his selflessness, and his virtuous morals. He was a family man, a provider of 4 that put everything aside in his life to work 2 jobs day and night in order to provide for his family.

We would forever be grateful for any donations during these hard times. Donations will go towards funeral expenses and medical bills.
