Funds for the passing of Sabrina Lorraine Mendoza

Hello, my name is Lynda Nicole Mendoza and I am fundraising for my younger sister Sabrina Lorraine Mendoza. Sabrina was 25 years young and has lost her battle with cancer in the early hours of Saturday, March 16, 2024. She was surrounded by her immediate family in her final moments. Her father Joe, mother Andrea, older sister Nicole, and younger brother Michael.

She was taken far too soon and barely started to live her adult life when she was diagnosed last March in 2023. She had stage 4 Epithelioid sarcoma, which is a very rare form of cancer that started in her pelvic region and quickly spread throughout her body. She had gone through countless intense treatments (chemo, radiation, immunotherapy) with no luck of minimizing the disease and ultimately was hospitalized for liver failure and deteriorated within the matter of days.

I am putting this Go Fund Me together to help relieve our family for the unexpected financial expenses that go along with losing a loved one (cremation services, burial services at Rose Hills, travel of immediate family from Colorado to Southern California) and putting together a celebration of life in remembrance of our beloved Sabrina. (scheduled for 4/20/24)
