Striking San Jose City Workers Hardship Fund

Donation protected
The hardship fund to support the striking San Jose city workers of MEF-AFSCME Local 101 and IFPTE Local 21.

Thousands of city workers in San Jose are gearing up for a historic 3-day strike from August 15-17. Show your solidarity by contributing to the Striking San Jose City Workers Hardship Fund! This is the official hardship fund of MEF-AFSCME Local 101 and IFPTE Local 21. San Jose city employees work day in and out to support our public services and are fighting for better staffing to meet the needs of residents: from libraries to affordable housing, to public transit, to San Jose International Mineta Airport, to Happy Hollow Park & Zoo, to emergency response, and more.

This fund will be used to help striking city workers who experience hardship as a result of lost pay. The funds from the Striking San Jose City Workers Hardship Fund will be disbursed by MEF-AFSCME. If the strike is averted, donations will be returned to donors.
