Saul's Double TPLO Surgery

Hello friends, family and extended community!

I am reaching out for support and financial help with Saul's upcoming double TPLO knee surgery.

For several years we have attempted to avoid such an invasive surgery by using methods that reduced his knee impact. We have avoided running, off-leash walks, chasing ball/toys, jumping and stairs. This has become unsustainable and been very difficult for Saul's active physical and mental needs. Plus, his knees have continued to deteriorate, create mobility issues and cause him pain. So, after a full assessment of otherwise good health (showing perfect hips and no liver concerns), I have decided to go ahead with surgery.

I have found an incredible veterinary team in Calgary, AB who I will be entrusting Saul with on January 9th, 2023. They estimated the double knee surgery itself will cost between $6000-$6500. This cost does not include other procedures that are occurring on December 12th, 2022, which are necessary to avoid TPLO infection complications.
