Save Najat & Abdelwahab from the War in Gaza

Hi, my name is Mahmoud. I am a Palestinian, from Gaza, and I live in Australia. I have the privilege of living in a safe environment; I wish I could say the same for my parents, who have been enduring displacement and unimaginable hardships since 7 October 2023. I'm trying to save my parents from being killed in the ongoing destruction in Gaza, and I urgently need your help to do so.

My parents are all I have in this world. I have not seen them physically for the past 14 years. The thought of losing them will break me. My father Abdelwahab, who is 66 years old, and my mother Najat, who is 64 years old, are both amazing science teachers who have contributed to society and the learning & development of children and teens in the Gazan school system. They were forced to flee their home from Gaza City to the southern area of the Strip, which has been under attack since 7 October 2023, despite claims of it being 'safe'. The situation day by day has been escalating in danger in southern Gaza due to non-stop bombardments from the air and land attacks.

I never thought I would see the day when my parents would be displaced from their home with just the clothes on their backs and have little to no access to basic living conditions- they don't have enough food or drinking water and they are being exposed to harsh winter temperatures and unsanitary living conditions.

Despite my efforts in securing them a visa to Australia, consular assistance has been limited to only spouses and they won't put my parents' names at the border so they can exit. The last resort is to pay for an exit, which has skyrocketed to A$ 15,000 per person (USD 10,000).

I wish I had the funds to get them out of this horrific situation. I have exhausted all my options, so I turn to you with an urgent appeal to support the evacuation of my parents to safer grounds. The amount would cover the exit arrangements, accommodation while in transit in Egypt and flights to Australia.
