Send Brielle to Youth Worlds!

This year I have been selected to represent Canada at the IFSC (International Federation of Sport Climbing)  Youth World Championships this August in Arco, Italy. I will be attending for speed climbing, where I go as fast as I can up at standardized 15 m wall relying on muscle memory, power, and strength.  I am very proud to be part of Team Canada. The national coaches always do their best to help athletes in anyway and strive to continually improve the teams structure and performance. I am very proud of my own performance as well, as I brought my personal best speed time down to 10.48s, a time I did not think would be possible for this year.  

I am committed to funding this trip without financial support from my parents.  The total of this trip will be $3500 (Not including all food). Included in this is:
-Round trip flight from Vancouver to Arco, Italy
-Bus transportation while in Arco
-Accommodation 
-8 CEC officials
-Opportunities to train in different locations around Arco
-3 team Dinners
-Competition Licences
-Team Canada uniforms

To pay for this trip I will be using the money I won from the past season’s open competitions, as well as money from the summer jobs I have been working.  Creating this fundraising page is another way to support me in funding this trip. I will be flying to Italy later in August and the duration will be 14 days and I am very excited!  Another thing to note that is different from the previous Youth World years is that Team Canada will be travelling and staying together during the whole trip. I was happy to hear this as I enjoy the team bonding and family feel.
