Megan's Mission Trip to Australia

Four years ago, the Super Bowl was in Indianapolis and I became aware of what Human Trafficking is. Exploiting women and children into the sex trade not only happens abroad, but it happens here in the United States.  My heart grew over these past four years for this cause and God began weaving my passion for it into my own life.  I helped in the early stages of creating a human trafficking awareness group on campus and coordinated a partnership between my UIndy soccer team with an organization called NotForSale .  My team and I spent two of our seasons raising money for NotForSale and raising awareness in our community about human trafficking.  I have been to many events, prayed in many groups, and have worked to educate others about this multibillion dollar industry.  Now that I am graduating in May, God has presented me with the opportunity to pursue my passion and dream to make a difference and work directly with those who have been affected by human trafficking.  I have been accepted to Priceless Discipleship Training School  in Perth, Australia beginning in July.  For the first three months I will be attending school, learning about the industry and preparing my heart for the last three months, which is the outreach phase.  I will be gone for 6 months, but I am so thankful that I am at a point in my life where I can be a part of this.  I need to raise $10,000 to help with the tuition cost of the school, travel arrangements for my outreach, plane tickets to and from Australia, and food and living expenses while I am over there.  I know God is the ultimate provider, and I am praying every day for these funds to come.  If you feel lead to give, I would really appreciate it. I do ask that you would please pray for me as I embark on this journey.  It is going to be an incredibly rewarding experience, but it will also be the toughest experience of my life.
