Shark Strong Like Jameson

Donation protected
If you've ever met Jameson, you know that he finds friends and admirers everywhere he goes. At only 4 years old, he is a uniquely charming, friendly, smart, active, snarky, well spoken and hilarious little soul. Since he was tiny, he has had a fascination and love of sharks. His love for sharks is a perfect fit for his incredible stregth and bravery and the general fierceness for which he approaches the difficult things in his life. His "Shark Strength" has been utilized everyday since beginning his Cancer journey.

On August 15th. 2023, we took Jameson, to the ER at Valley Children's Hospital in Madera for extreme sharp pains in his tummy. What we had been told previously by his primary was just a bad case of gastroenteritis, was now discovered to be a large abdominal adrenal gland tumor the size of a grapefruit. On August 23rd 2023, he was diagnosed with Stage 4 high risk Nueroblastoma Cancer that has metastasized into his spine, pelvis & bone marrow. We have since found out that he has a genetic form of Nueroblastoma with an ALK mutation that makes it more resistant to chemo. He will now be put on a new special trial drug daily to help maximize the chemo's effects.

He is currently undergoing high dose Chemo and we frequentlyin & out of the hospital. There are many more days of Chemo ahead, as well as possible resection, radiation, and Stem Cell Therapy at UCSF.

His dad, Nick, has been driving the 1 hour & 20 min round trip to the hospital daily, while I have basically lived in the hospital with Jameson. We have been ordering out for food or at the cafeteria daily for ourselves, and just to get Jameson something that sounds good to him that he can eat. Piology Pizza & In N Out are on repeat! I am also constantly trying to find things & activities to keep him comfy, occupied, busy & distracted from all the rough stuff & having to stay primarily in bed all day. The daily costs for these things is high. Donations will absolutely help ease our daily stress by relieving some of that cost.

Thank you to each and everyone of you who have taken the time to read his story and offer help and support. We absolutely appreciate you.
