Important Update:

The fund has amazing momentum and continues to grow.

Shubham' mother, father, brother and uncle will be arriving in Canada on July 05, 2024.

The family has chosen to perform the last rites here in Canada, followed by a cremation, providing them with the ability to have closure and be able to take their son home.

I personally want to thank everyone--not only the incredible people that have donated--but everyone that has sent condolences to the family, friends and myself.

We live in difficult times right now. However, it is overwhelming to see that there are so many amazing people, like you, in this world.

On behalf of Shubham's family, I want to thank you and assure you that his family will benefit 100% in bringing their son home from your generosity and compassion. You have shown that there are so many wonderful people out there.

From the bottom of my heart, I thank you!

As many of you are aware from the social media posts I have made over the past week, Shubham Manchanda, slipped on a wet rock and fell into the Niagara River on June 15, 2024. It saddens me to inform you that his body has been recovered and as such, I am starting this fund so that we can repatriate him back home to India.

Shubham was a Durham College (Oshawa, Ontario) project management student of mine three years ago. For some time, we also worked together at Paradisaic Building Group. He was even a proud supervisor at Tim Horton's in Port Perry. Our friendship grew as I mentored Shubham on embarking upon a professional journey where he could use his data expertise alongside his wealth of project management knowledge. In January 2024, Shubham moved to Thorold, Ontario (Niagara area) where he was hired into Accenture.

To repatriate a body back to India, the cost is $10,000 - $20,000 CAD, with $15,000 to $20,000 CAD being most likely. With that, I am asking if you can even donate a small amount, it will add up as so many people loved Shubham. I fully understand the challenging environment we all live in today with high prices everywhere.

If you're unable to donate, please say prayers for Shubham's family during this very difficult time.

Sharing this post would be greatly appreciated.

I thank each and every one of you from the bottom of my heart.
