Sing for Sabrina

Sabrina Luening has been a dear friend for what has to be over thirty years, Saturday she suffered a massive stroke here on the Island, she was med-lifted to Boston. There, she was placed into an induced coma and underwent a lengthy surgery to her brain. Erich Luening is like a brother to me and Louisa her mom is wonderful as you all know. Talia Luening worked with us all summer and we have known one another for years and in recent times we have become much closer friends. This is an island family, that needs all of our help.

A BENEFIT FOR SABRINA, will be taking place at The Cardboard Box on Saturday November 9th and it’s attendance needs to be strong. Don Groover is putting together the musical end of this, two Bands and Many Special Guests will be lending their talents to this Most Important cause.

Many Details to follow- official line ups of bands and players, donations and auction items. A GoFundMe page will be set up in addition to this fundraiser. Jimmy Parr has offered to run sound, to make CD’s of recent recordings of Sabrina for long term support and raising the funds to make sure this family we all love has what it needs in these very difficult times and heading into the holiday season.
