Who this will help

We are a group of Ex Abercrave RFC players! Who wants to help Jeff Spud Jones on the way to fight prostrate cancer.

Why I'm fundraising

Well we have got a mammoth task on our hands from tonight! Spud and group of men are embarking on a weight loss program ( fat club ) to lose a few stone and raise money along the way for prostate cancer. We met at 6pm for the first weigh in and by the looks of it, most of us would be better going to Onllwyn washery to borrow the weigh bridge. We are all determined to lose a lot of weight and will keep you posted about our journey. The gang are Jeff Spud Jones, Gethyn Howells, Rich Breslin, Chris Davies, Barry Williams, Taxi, Big Rod, Peter Maggs, Mike Notts, Lyn Jones, Breck, Joey, Richard Tavern, Melv, JD, Pete Carol, Nelly, Phil Smith.

Obviously if anyone else seriously wants to join us, we will be in the hall of Abercrave RFC at 1800 every Tuesday going forward.

The reason we are doing this is one of our own Jeff Spud Jones has got prostate cancer and needs to lose a bit of weight before they will operate. They have caught it early and it hasn’t spread. We want to make sure he hits his target very soon and the rest of us just need to lose weight!
