Stage 3 Agressive Bladder Cancer

My Story:

Hi, my name is Sheldon Rycroft and I am reaching out to you in a time of great need. I have recently been diagnosed with Stage 3 Aggressive Bladder Cancer and am embarking on a challenging journey towards recovery in my battle to fight this disease.

This has been this biggest shock I have ever encountered, which I am still trying to understand and accept. I simply went to the doctor for what I thought was a bladder infection. I was immediately admitted into hospital and had several blood transfusions in the interim as I was losing blood rapidly. In order for the doctor to assess my situation, I was scheduled for surgery for them to explore what the problem could be. I almost lost my life on the first attempted surgery, due to more significant blood loss. Fortunately, I was transferred in time to see a specialist in the field which saved my life.

Further tests were carried out and I have been diagnosed with Stage 3 Aggressive Bladder Cancer. To give me the best chance of fighting this disease I need to start Chemotherapy treatment as soon as possible, which has a 60% success rate. In my circumstances, I am unable to receive this treatment through the NHS and don’t have private medical insurance, so I need to cover the costs myself, which I simply cannot afford.

Cancer is a battle that no one should face alone, and your support can make a significant difference in my fight. I am humbly asking for your help to raise funds to cover the costs associated with my treatment and recovery.
