Stand with Heidi's Family in Their Difficult Time

In memory of Heidi riess, and in support for her kids still at home along with my dad, we are asking for your help. This was sudden and has left us in shock. Many people know that in 2018 my mom Heidi was diagnosed with stage 2B breast cancer. She went into remission soon after. however 3 months ago (March 2024) she was admitted to the hospital and never got to go home. Over the last 3 months my mom had dozens of surgeries, procedures, and diagnosis. Including a spinal fusion due to cancer they found in her bones, she had been working full time for 2 months with breaks all over her neck and spine, double nephrostomie, appendicitis, sepsis, metastatic (stage 4) breast cancer, And many others. On June 8, 2024 she went into a surgery and came out on life support. Anyone who knows my mom knows how strong she is, she fought and got her self off of life support. She was off the ventilator for a couple days just long enough to see family one more time. Early morning of June 21,2024 my mom Heidi passed away.
