Stand with Karla for Piper Moeller's Tribute

Hello, my name is Karla.

My mother, Piper Moeller, has been fighting a battle with lung cancer for two long, hard years. My mom was our family's matriarch. She was always on it, every day, from wake up to sit down. She kept our family together through the good and all of the bad. When my mom and dad found out about her diagnosis, she didn't let that stop her. She stayed so strong, not for herself, but for her family. Unfortunately, the fight was too hard. My father lost his job because of the amount of doctor's appointments that were required to maintain the fight. Without my father's income, they lost their livelihood, but still, my mother stayed confident and strong.

Sadly, on 6/12/2024, my mother lost the battle. She was given only a few months after her diagnosis, but she maintained and made sure she let all who knew her, she would still be there, if not physically, then in spirit. Today, we are asking for our community to lend a hand. My father is completely devastated. They met in high school and have been together since. When they found out, his world stopped. This wonderful, strong woman, who he had loved all his life, was suddenly taken from him.

We are not a wealthy family, but we are a unit. With the cost of a funeral these days, it is impossible to give my mother the honor she deserves. We just want to give her what we can. We are asking for a few good people to help our family out.
