Luke’s getting stronger, but still a mountain to climb!!!

My brother Luke is a beloved friend, brother, son, father to his two children, and husband to his beautiful wife. He has served the worship industry and Elevation Church as a drummer for over a decade. On December 27th, Luke will be having a crainiotomy (brain surgery) to remove a large cyst that was discovered in early December. His specialists believe he may have fractured his skull when he was a boy and that the fractured area has slowly been filling with spinal fluid ever since.
The cyst, which is about the size of Luke's fist, roughly 1/5 of his brain, has deteriorated part of Luke's skull. The surgery to repair this portion of the skull requires the fabrication and surgical implantation of a custom plate. Shockingly, in the physician's 30 years of experience, he and his team have never seen something like this. The doctors have taken extensive time to create a thorough and careful plan. Due to the area of the brain affected, Luke's motor skills have been hampered, which the Doctors believe will return to normal post surgery. We are praying for a seamless and effective surgery and that God will protect and heal Luke completely including the full restoration of his motor skills.
The issue was initially discovered on December 1st after Luke passed out during a business zoom call with a client. Miracuolously, the client knew Luke's father and was able to call him on a flight 30,000 feet in the air, and paramedics were able to immediately respond. Upon arrival, the paramedics quickly discovered the Luke suffered a massive seizure, which he was completely unaware of. After further testing the cyst was discovered.
He is currently on anti-seizure medication and unable to drive for the next six months. As many of you know, Luke is a drummer, producer, and entrepreneur and this attack has effected his ability to work. The doctors are anticipating a 4-6 month recovery period following the surgery.
In order to help carry Luke and his family through this time, we have started this Go Fund me. Our hope is to alleviate financial pressure so he and his family can focus on recovery without unnecessary worry.
