Stand with the Akers' Family in Their Grief

The Akers' family was hit with a tragic automobile accident while traveling home from vacation on June 21, 2024. The family has asked for community support to help with funeral and medical expense.

Tammy, her Husband Greg, daughter Krystal and grandchildren Angel and Karter were hit from behind by a box truck coming home from a fun family vacation. Unfortunately Krystal and her daughter Angel did not survive the crash. Karter underwent brain trauma surgery to alleviate some pressure and is now recovering in icu. Greg was also admitted to the hospital with broken ribs and broken vertebrae in his back. Tammy suffered severe bruising but has been able to be with baby Karter while he recovers.

Krystal was an amazing mother to her babies, Angel was just a baby herself, set to start middle school this upcoming school year. Both had a relationship with God and watching Angels testimonies would bring a tear to your eyes and you could see how devoted she was to the Lord.

The family is in need of donations for medical support and funeral expense as neither Krystal nor Angel had life insurance.

This is a very difficult time for this family and they should not have to worry about how they will pay to memorialize these sweet angels they have lost.

This also will be leaving Greg out of work for recovery, and he will need time to be with his family to grieve.
