Storm Damage at Sundown Little League
Donation protected
Sundown Little League’s unexpected financial shortfall due to severe storms at the beginning of the new year, 2023.
The recent record-breaking storms caused catastrophic damage to Sundown Little League when one of the massive eucalyptus trees uprooted and fell.
The tree knocked over our power pole, damaged the sewer line and tore the water meter from the ground. On the way down one of the branches damaged the scoreboard, which will need to be replaced.
Unfortunately, we are left without power, sewer, water or a scoreboard - the necessities needed to keep our league intact. Our biggest setback is that our insurance will not cover the damage.
Sundown Little League is a non-profit organization that has served our community since 1960.
Our little league baseball season begins in a few weeks and we are struggling against time and funding to have a season this year for our kids.
We are reaching out to our community to try and raise $15,000.00 for repairs. Please help us by donating funds and/or your skilled labor to help fix the damage. (Please be certified in your respective trade).
Please help us save our 2023 season! All donations are greatly appreciated!
