SunDevils 13UAAA off to Western Nationals!

Hi! Thank you for considering supporting this team of amazing baseball players who have put their heart and soul on the line year after year. July 30th will be a day that changed their lives as all their hard work paid off as they earned second at the BC Provincial Tournament, qualifying for the Western National Championship in Fort McMurray August 16-20.

These kids were the underdogs, not expected to make it out of their initial pool - and they pulled off 2 major upsets, knocking 4 teams out of play over the weekend.

The semi-final game occurred Sunday morning and they were down 5-1 against Cloverdale, but did they give up? No! They battled back to tie the game in the 5th inning and drove the game into extras, scoring the winning run in the top of the 9th. It was an amazing feat, a hard battle and a well-fought win.

The team is now off to Fort McMurray Alberta to play in the Western National Championship. We need help getting there! 15 players and coaches need to make the trek to northern Alberta in 2 weeks time.
