Support Angelo's Eagle Scout Service Project for Bishop Amat

Help Angelo Abuel (Bishop Amat Class of 2024) earn his rank of Eagle by helping raise the funds to execute his Eagle Scout Service Project. This project will be building a wooden deck for the Bishop Amat Memorial High School Softball Team, which will be a permanent space for announcers and scorekeepers to use during games.

The funds will be used to cover the cost of all of the materials, tool, and other supplies needed. All excess/unused funds will be donated to Bishop Amat!

Your kind donation will help cover the following estimated costs:

Lumber: $915 (purchased!)

Hardware, Stain, and Paint: $350

Other Supplies (Sandpaper, trash bags, tape, etc.): $350

Food to feed volunteers: $300

The Eagle Rank is the 7th and final rank of the Scouts BSA Program. However, it is not easy to achieve - only about 4% of all registered scouts in the program achieve the rank of Eagle. The requirements for the rank of Eagle involve a variety of tasks such as filling leadership positions and earning specific merit badges, but the culmination of these requirements is planning, leading, and executing a service project that will benefit the community in some form.
