This is Shannon McAbee and Ben Maki. Shannon has been with the Brew'N'View for 17 years. Ben has been brewing beer for APBC for 9 years. Some of our co-workers have been with our company longer. We are a dedicated crew and look forward to reopening, but right now we don't know when that will be.

Western North Carolina has been devastated by Hurricane Helene. Unfortunately, we lost one of our beloved staff members. We miss them terribly. Some of us are helping in the community. Some are doing welfare checks. Most everyone is without running water and many are still without power. Cell service is slowly returning. Our buildings are still standing but without running water and power we are unable to open for business.

This is a really hard time for everyone in this area. No one knows for sure when we will be able to open our doors for business again. Which means no income for possibly quite some time.

Our staff is comprised of about 80 super cool peeps.. Front of house, back of house, and our brewers. This is a hard time being unemployed and knowing the bills will still come whether we are able to pay them or not. The govt assistance out there isn't much, but every little bit helps. We are a tight APBC family. We are there for each other.

We really miss our regulars. We look forward to a time of new beer releases and exciting movies again. We can't wait for parties to come back. Who misses the PIZZA BUFFET? We do. We will get back to business eventually but it may be a month or 2. We just don't know.

We've started this fundraiser on behalf of all APBC staff to help during this time. The funds will be distributed between employees of our downtown and North Asheville location. Any little bit helps to buy groceries, get gas, pay bills. We miss our customers and we miss working together. You might consider giving what you might normally tip or more if you are in a position to do so. We are grateful for any contributions at all.
