Help David Applebaum Start Over after Palisades Wildfires

Donation protected
The tragic wildfires in the Pacific Palisades have left us all brokenhearted for the individuals who have lost everything. Our dear friend David Applebaum and his partner Anna have unfortunately been among the individuals to have lost a home and all their belongings. They quickly left in evacuation, being able to take nothing but a few items and the clothes on their backs. They were part of the community at Tahitian Terrace located at 16001 Pacific Coast Highway, Pacific Palisades, across from Will Rogers Beach between Sunset Blvd. and Temescal Canyon. Unfortunately, David's home and community have been completely destroyed.

David Applebaum is a Los Angeles-based architect who designs beautiful homes throughout the Los Angeles area, bringing smiles to his clients with his mantra of Live where you Love - Love where you Live. His passion for designing homes that bring comfort and joy has helped create the feeling of home for so many. Now, this giving individual has lost his home and all the joy and comfort that come with having a home and belongings.

With this GoFundMe, we can send love and help to David to rebuild his dream home. David recently purchased his property in the Pacific Palisades and spent the last few years remodeling and creating his own special haven.

With David's home, work-office, tools of his trade and ability to resume work destroyed and suspended for the foreseeable future, and no idea when life as they know it will resume, we ask for you to extend your love and generosity to help sustain David and his family through this crisis.

We hope to raise funds to help him restore his home life that was so tragically and completely destroyed by the wildfires. He has helped so many others build and design homes, it seems so poignant that we do the same for him.

We are all so sorry for this loss, David & Anna, and know that this tragic and uncharted event leaves trauma and devastation in its wake. We hope this fundraiser helps to lessen the burden and let you know you are loved, cared for, and not alone in this moment.

My name is Caroline Blazovsky, a national environmental residential consultant who is hosting and creating this GoFundMe with the help of numerous others. I am a close friend and colleague of David for many years. We work together on projects to help create safe and beautiful living spaces. We want everyone to know that this page is authentic and all funds will be directly distributed to David to help reestablish a home life and stability that they have lost from this tragedy.

The funds raised may be allocated for household items, start over expenses, toiletries, furniture, transportation, appliances and/or other finances to obtain and create a new living space.

Feel free to reach out with any questions, we appreciate your love and support. Our help is needed.

Here are some photos to be able to learn more about David, his community, and this unforgettable tragedy.
