Support Au in Her Fight Against Leukemia

Hello friends and family,

I'm setting up this GoFundMe on behalf of our dear friend Au, who has recently been diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia (AML). Au is vibrant, kind-hearted, and known for her generous spirit. She is a source of joy and light for us all and now it's our turn to give back.

AML is a cancer of the blood and bone marrow that requires immediate treatment. Au is receiving intensive, inpatient chemotherapy at Kaiser where she will stay for the next month as her medical team monitors the progression of her treatment.

How You Can Help:

We are aiming to raise funds to cover significant medical expenses and other unforeseen costs related to Au's care. Every donation, of any size, brings Au closer to focusing fully on her fight against AML without the added stress of financial burden. Here's how your contributions will help:

Medical Treatment: The costs of inpatient chemotherapy expenses not covered by insurance as well as the transition to outpatient care.

Living Expenses: As Au will be unable to work during treatment or for a significant amount of time after, your support will help cover day-to-day expenses.

Home Adjustments: Au will have to modify her lifestyle to accommodate her medical needs. This will include renovating and preparing her living space for her return home.
