Support Ava in Karin's Recovery Journey

As most of you are aware, Ava’s mom Karin had a bad fall three weeks ago. She has multiple fractures in her back and neck and broke her arm. She had spinal surgery two weeks ago and is now in a rehabilitation facility. Karin has a very long and painful recovery ahead of her. To ensure her mom is getting the best care, Ava has made the decision to take a leave of absence from work to be there to help and encourage her mom during her rehab. Unfortunately, her time off from work will be unpaid.

Ava’s bills and her mom’s medical bills have started to add up and will continue to do so during her mom’s recovery. Insurance will only cover three weeks of rehab and then Ava will be responsible for the out-of-pocket costs to keep her mom in the rehab as long as needed. Ava is very proud and strong-willed and does not like to ask for help.

Anyone who knows Ava and her mom, knows what an amazing supportive daughter she has been. This situation has been very stressful and emotionally exhausting for her. We all love Ava and her sweet Momma. We are starting a Go Fund Me for Ava to give her some relief while she helps her mom through recovery.
