Support Baby Bradley Arpin's Early Arrival
Donation protected
We are starting this fundraiser for the Arpin family. As some of you may know, baby Bradley Arpin was born early at just 27 weeks. We want to help this amazing family with expenses for travel to and from Boston, hospital bills, and other expenses that may come up along the way.
Here is their story,
Welcome to the worId baby Bradley Hudson Arpin. Born on July 7th at 2.3 pounds, at almost 27 weeks and 5 days gestational age, you just couldn't wait any longer to join us. Our hearts are so full.
We have a long NICU stay and a lot of hard work ahead of us before Brad will be ready to come home. Our family has had quite the unexpected journey the past 5 weeks. On June 3rd at 22 weeks 6 days pregnant, my water broke will full loss of fluid. This was due to a pregnancy complication called PPROM (www.aapprom.org/community/ppromfacts). I was immediately transferred to MA General Hospital in Boston, where I have remained inpatient with their incredible antenatal team until delivery, as the doctors here helped me buy more precious time for our little one to keep developing before delivery. This journey has been a rollercoaster, with unexpected ups, downs, and twists. Brad has a long battle still ahead with his lungs and overall development as a micropreemie, but we know he is in the best of hands here and our family is adjusting to life in the NICU. He is truly a fighter
We are so grateful for the incredible tribe of family and friends who have uplifted us and continue to keep us going during this time. How we have come to be blessed by such a powerful gift of love and friendships is something we are in awe of every day. Thank you, thank you. We are taking things one day at a time, with gratitude for the gift of each day. —Heather Arpin
