It is with deep sadness and a heavy heart that I announce the passing of my momma, Lillie Irene Lee, 52 of Boonville Indiana. She was a mother, grandma, sister, aunt, cousin and friend. She left this earthly world, June 2,2024 at 11:24pm, at the Linda E White Hospice House surrounded by her kids Amber, Nick (Tosha), Brittany (Ricky), Suede(Shawna), grandchildren, Kaiden, Ariel, niece Courtney and bestfriend JenniferAfter. Lillie lived a life full of love, happiness, partying, fun, laughter, bumpy roads, and resilience. She fought long and hard for years with copd. Unfortunately, it was a battle she couldn't win.

Lillie touched so many lives in the 19,002 days she was with us. Now is the time she goes off to gain her angel wings and reconnect with her mom, dad, and all the others she loved and missed so dearly. She can finally have all the long chats she’s wanted to have with her mom for the last 21 years. She was a friend to all and she never met a stranger or someone she couldn't talk to. She could talk to anyone she met for hours. She loved being around family and friends. She loved her kids and grandkids more than anything in the world.

Lillie is preceded in death by her grandparents Eugene R Criss and Lillie E Noffsinger, Fred Lee and Clara M Lee, Her parents Walter E Lee and Connie R Lee. Ex-Husband and friend Phillip Chase, Her best buddy she adored Rod Mosley, Aunts and uncles Tracey Decker, Marilyn Uhde, Scott Criss, Daniel Criss.

She is survived by her sister Sheila(Bub) Hay, Aunt Dee (Bruce) Simmons, her children Amber (Matt) Quick, Nick Morris and Tosha Davis, Brittany Morris(Her Angel) and Rick Hayes, Suede Morris(Her baby) and Shawna Davis.A son she claimed Brett Sitting she also had several other Kids she Claimed as her own as well. Grandkids Chance Miller, Austin and Dallas Quick, Kayleena Poland, Kaiden Hayes, Ariel Bonk, Kegan Morris and Kassidy Davis. And many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Lillie loved partying but most of all being with and talking to ones that she cared about. If you knew my mom you knew she could be a lot sometimes. She was a handful, crazy, loving, funny, sarcastic, fun, outgoing, the life of the party, nobody was changing her mind, she did what she wanted and didn't think twice about it. So everytime she would say she didn't want the sad traditional funeral, She wanted us to throw a party for everyone to come celebrate, laugh, have a good time and share stories. I thought she Crazy. I remember telling her she was losing it because she was talking nuts and to forget about it we were not doing that end of story. Then after she was called home by the good lord himself I realized she wasn't nuts. This was what she wanted. She wanted to be remembered for the life she lived before the breathing and health problems she was battling. So in her honor I ask everyone who knew her to come and join me on July 6, 2024 at 2 pm in Selvin Indiana at the Selvin Community Building for a memorial service, a memorial dinner, and a Celebration of life party to honor and celebrate the life of Lillie Lee.

We want to give Lillie Lee the memorial she deserves, to honor her memory and say our last goodbyes. I am currently asking for donations to help cover the cost of Lillie’s memorial, burial, and tombstone. We need to raise $3,000 by June 28, 2024 in order to be able to afford the memorial, burial, and tombstone. Any donations help and are very much appreciated. If you can and are willing to donate please do. Donations will go to me (her daughter Brittany Morris) and I will use it to cover the expenses of her memorial burial and tombstone. My mother passed away on June 2 at 11:24 pm. She did not have any life insurance and I financially can't afford to do everything. I'm trying to honor her wishes and give her the memorial, burial, and tombstone she deserves. If anyone is able to donate, I appreciate it so very much and thank you in advance. Her daughter, Brittany Morris.
