James Also known as Bubba, recently celebrated his 10th birthday. Unfortunately it wasn't the birthday he wished for as he was always feeling sick and weak, weak to the point where he couldn't hold himself up. A young, vibrant, and active boy James had to watch his friends and siblings run, play, and enjoy themselves but unable to participate. James III never complained because he wanted to be the strong brother to his 3 sisters and didn't want the way he felt to ruin their fun.
After many, many doctors and appointments James was diagnosed with stage 4 bone cancer that has spread to his lungs. We are still waiting for additional information but we do know he will be hospitalized for a few weeks and will undergo chemotherapy for quite a long time. He currently has a softball size tumor on his hip and on a feeding tube to let him gain the strength he needs for chemo. The family was told by doctors to enjoy every minute that they can.
So that the family can spend this most precious time with their son during this time of need, donations will help with expenses of continuing to take care of James' 3 siblings, monthly recurring financial obligations, and the additional costs that are incurred while being beside your child during cancer treatment. No parent should have to miss out on what could possible be the last moments to make memories and care for their child.
We have faith in the medical team at Centennial they will take care of James. The family has faith they will get through this - though we know there is a long and tough road ahead. If you find you are able to donate to this cause, please know you are truly helping a family and child in need. No words can express the gratitude we have for your kindness. One of our goals is to grant one of Bubbas wish, he wanted to go on a shopping spree for Christmas for him and his 3 sisters. Since Bubba no longer able to walk. Let’s try to bring Christmas to him.
Thank you for reading and please pray for healing and strength for the Grant family; James Jr, Caitlin, Zoey, James III, Evelina, Julia, Kelly Kell and the rest of this family. If you are unable to financially donate. Prayer is the best gift that one can give. Bubbas story can also be viewed on WGNSradio.com and News Chanel 5.
