Support Cairra in Honoring Zach's Memory

Donation protected
Zachariah Tickner passed away over the weekend. He was 10 years old. Zach loved the outdoors, arts and crafts, pizza, and the movie Encanto. He loved his time with the Stanford Men's Lacrosse team at practices and games. His role model was Derek Carr and if he could have had one super power, it would have been to make people fall in love.

Zach was initially admitted to Stanford Medical Center at the age of 6 to treat brain tumors - back in 2021. He beat the tumors in 2022, but then last October of 2023 he was diagnosed with a secondary cancer called AML - a form of leukemia.

Zach's family needs your help. Especially his sister Cairra, who is his primary caretaker and guardian. As you can imagine, Cairra is devastated. She is in the process of planning the funeral and she needs our help. I am asking our community to come together and open our hearts by making a gift to help Cairra pay for the memorial services and funeral. No gift is too small.

He was the toughest person on the field, by far. It's beyond heartbreaking to lose a young person, especially to disease as painful as cancer. I struggle to describe the sadness with words. But now I think about Cairra, who has shouldered great responsibility and is now shouldering immense grief. I thank you all for anything you can give.
