Support Carla’s Recovery and Flight Home to Family

Recently our friend Carla was hospitalized with a potentially deadly blood clot in her brain. She is incredibly fortunate to have survived but still needs care as she recovers. It is estimated it will take 6 months for the clot to dissolve and during that time she will have limited ability to work. Furthermore, she lives alone in the Netherlands, away from her family.

Her close friend has volunteered to bring her to Mexico where her Mom, Sister Sara, and Sara’s family can care for her and assist in her recovery following treatment. Sara will then fly her back to the Netherlands so Carla can finalize her treatment.

As this is an unexpected expense for both of them we are trying to raise money to cover both round-trip plane tickets. If you have anything to give it would make a huge difference in Carla's recovery and care. This will reduce her stress level and allow her the best chance at healing. She has a long road ahead of her. With our help and the care of a loving family she should be better in no time.
