Hello, my name is Kaitlyn Cormier, and I am reaching out to you in a time of profound need. Recently, my family has been struck by a devastating tragedy that has upended our lives. My mother, Christine, who was the temporary guardian of my 2 children, passed away unexpectedly after suffering from a seizure and unfortunately was pronounced brain dead. Her sudden loss has left us heartbroken and in a precarious situation.

Christine was not only the pillar of our family but also the primary provider. She rented a house in Sandy Hook, where my children have grown up and found comfort in the familiarity of their home and community. Now, with the unexpected loss of my mother, we are faced with the imminent threat of losing this safe haven due to financial constraints.

She passed without life insurance or any financial safety net, thus leaving us to face the daunting task of managing funeral expenses and the cost of daily living in the weeks to come.
