Support Chuck's Legacy for Vietnam Vets

Hello all,

Our father, Chuck Torres, entered into rest on the 30th of May, 2024.

He was always willing to help his family, or friends without question. One example of this is, prior to our dad getting sick, he would always have family reunions at his house. It always brought him joy to have all the family in one place having a good time. When our father committed to something, he did it with professionalism, enthusiasm, and it showed in the course of his twenty-year Army career, and his ten-year career as a school district employee.

Our father took pride in being a member of the local VFW chapter and was always supporting organizations that would support Vietnam Veterans. This was due to the fact he did three tours in Vietnam while he was in the Army and he felt that he should always help fellow Vietnam Veterans.

Due to our father being cremated, and his ashes being scattered outside the Golden Gate bridge, we ask in lieu of flowers, a donation to this gofundme be made. After the services for our father we will make one donation, in his name, to the Vietnam Veterans of America organization VVA.org
