Support David Garcia's Road to Recovery

Hey family and friends,

This post is to bring attention to my wonderful, loving husband, David Garcia.

If you know him, you know the kind-hearted and beautiful soul my baby is.

Unfortunately, my husband has been in a horrible motorcycle accident.

Those of you who are close to us knew David was starting a new path in his career along with a new job and going back to college so he could better our future.

On June 4th, 2024, was to be a momentous day for us as a family as our 14-year-old daughter Aaliyah celebrated her ceremony promoting from 8th grade. Simultaneously, my husband had to finish his last final at Long Beach City College.

It hurt him to miss such a precious moment in our daughter's life, but he explained to her, “Mamas, I have to miss this event, but know it’s for our future”.

As he was on his way to school, he exited Carson and he was hit by a driver. I’m still finding out more information about the accident.

We still don’t have all the details right now.

Our main concern is his health and recovery.

Thank God he is alive.

The accident he endured has caused minor brain bleed, broken left arm, broken pelvis, and fractured both ankles.

He went into surgery yesterday for three things: to bring his pelvic back together, putting plates and screws, surgery in his right forearm, and the right foot needing plates and screws.

He's currently in ICU with a breathing tube this morning. Praying they might take it out tonight. The brain bleed is minor. The swelling has gone down, praise God.

I know my husband is so strong-willed and a powerhouse when it comes to thinking positive, he’s such a big encourager and I just ask that if we could have your encouragement for my husband at this time.

I'm making this GoFundMe because now this unexpected event in our lives has unfortunately come where our finances are now challenged.

This will help keep a roof over our heads, cover bills, and to cover additional expenses that are to come.

As we wait for things to get approved.
