Support for Brother Jon Hock & Family

Together We Rise Above -
My name is Ryan Platt, an alumnus of The Sigma Alpha Epsilon Florida Delta Chapter (2003), and I am seeking donations to support my brother and long-time friend Jon Hock and his family.
As many know, Hurricane Ian tore through Southwest Florida as a major Category 4 storm on September 28, 2022. Hurricane Ian made its official landfall near Cayo Costa State Park.
Jon Hock, his wife Julie and daughter Joyelle’s home is just a mere 15 miles northeast, as the crow flies, from where Hurricane Ian made landfall.
Despite best preparation efforts, Jon and Julie's home sustained substantial roof damage, leaving their home unlivable. I have included some photos below.
Jon, Assistant Principal and Julie, a teacher in Port Charlotte, are now faced with navigating extensive home repair so that they can live in their home again.
Jon is a brother of the Sigma Alpha Epsilon - Florida Delta Chapter and was the 2002-2003 Chapter President. Aside from being a brother with strong convictions and the strength always to do the right thing, Jon is an exceptional all-around great guy and, of course, a True Gentleman.
As a fellow brother and longtime friend of Jon’s from the University of South Florida, I created this GoFundMe account to help Jon and Julie cover the unanticipated expenses of repairing their home, lodging, and homeowner's insurance hurricane deductible.
I am hoping that other brothers and friends can also help support Jon and his family during this very trying time.
