Support for D'lores Tracey in Memory of Demetrius

My name is Connie Hull and I am a homeowner in Pierpointe. D'lores Tracey, our guard who is the Site Supervisor and works the day shift from Tues thru Sat, lost her son, Demetrius Akins on May 27, 2024. He passed in his sleep and it was sudden and unexpected. We all appreciate D'lores so much and she is suffering greatly. She has lost income from taking time off from work and is incurring unexpected funeral expenses. We want to lessen her burden so we are asking residents of Pierpointe and anyone who has had the pleasure of interacting with D'lores to contribute what they can during her time of grief.

Demetrius Akins service will be Saturday June 15, 1 PM at Wade Funeral Home, 315 Pembroke Road, Hallandale. Viewing will be Friday June 14, 5 to 7 PM.

Cindy Cruz, the volunteer guardhouse coordinator, has worked very closely with D'lores and will be assisting with getting these funds to her. When I last communicated with D'lores she said "The pain I'm feeling hurts so bad. The tears just keep falling". Please, let's all help her in her time of need.
