Support for Family Battling Diabetes Crisis

Dear loved ones,

On Sunday, April 7th, what initially seemed like the fatigue of a hard-working husband revealed itself to be a much more serious situation. I discovered my husband lying on the floor, unable to speak or move. I immediately called 911, bewildered as to how we had arrived at this moment. This call ushered him into the ICU, where he has remained for the past few days.

The doctors identified an alarming case of high blood sugar 1400, compared to the normal count of 90-140 and later diagnosed him with diabetes. While he is undergoing a remarkable recovery, the journey ahead will require him to be out of work for an extended period and undergo numerous sessions of physical therapy.

As the sole provider for our family of four, the mounting hospital bills and housing responsibilities are daunting. I am reaching out to our community, both near and far, to request assistance in alleviating this burden, however small.
