Support for Irene's Final Farewell

Hi, my name is Francesca Fierros. My mother Irene Victoria Pozo passed away on June 14th, 2024 at her home in Antioch. She had been battling with her mental and physical health for years. In October she broke her ankle and her foot so she had surgery to get it repaired. She was just released from Diamond Ridge in March right before her birthday. She had been home getting care from her amazing caregiver Margarita who was with my mom when she passed. Unfortunately my mom did not have any end of life plans or insurances. I’ll be using this money to contribute to her services on July 11th, burial on July 12th, and anything else that arises from this time.

She was the strongest woman I knew. She just celebrated her 59th birthday this year. If you knew her she was always dressed to the nines and we all called her a fashionista. She was the nicest and sweetest person you’d ever meet. Even when she was in pain she would put on a smile so people did not feel bad for her. She was a woman of faith and always had her bible with her. She would go to services even when she could barely walk because Jesus was her savior. She loved her nieces and nephews like her own. She had all their photos on her walls. She grew up in Pittsburg and worked at the Mecca with her sister Lupe. I am her only daughter and I am coordinating her services so anything would help at this time. Thank you so much to all our friends and family who have been reaching out with their condolences.
