If you know Kayleigh, you know she is a nurturer. You know her for her big smile, positive attitude, bubbly personality and genuine kindness. You certainly know her for her work ethic and passion for her pastry craft. Caring, compassionate, intelligent and always thinking of others...Kayleigh wears her heart on her sleeve. That's precisely why we, a group of her close friends, have created this fundraiser: for Kayleigh...the friend who never hesitates to give her entire heart to everything and everyone. Now she needs our help as she rests and recovers from heart surgery amidst a long, arduous journey to finding a diagnosis for a string of unpredictable and challenging health problems she has faced for years now.

Last week, Kayleigh's heart went into repeated cardiac arrest, which prompted today's surgery to implant a pacemaker to keep her heart pumping. This procedure is only the beginning, with many appointments ahead to schedule with cardiologists, neurologists, and other specialists in hopes of pinpointing what is causing these reoccurring and debilitating health scares. This has created immense financial stress for Kayleigh, as you can probably imagine. Not only does she have to take time off of work, she also faces a lengthy list of expenses our healthcare system has thrown her way. The same healthcare system that insists she relax and rest to reduce stress on her heart and body.

Please help us collect funds for her medical bills so that she can continue to receive adequate healthcare and have her basic needs met while she is recovering. We want nothing more than to help eliminate as much stress as possible to allow our friend to focus on her health and quality of life.
