Support for Mikeys Family in Their Grief

Jean Michael “Mikey” Tristan passed away on Wednesday, May 15, 2024 in Houston, Texas, at the age of 18.

Mikey was born on January 22, 2006 in Houston, Texas to Jorge Adalberto and Diana Cano Tristan. He enjoyed watching comedies such as his favorite show “Friends”, was a fan of the latest action and animated movies, and found joy in listening to music. He was also a big Houston Texans fan; his favorite player was JJ Watt. Mikey was a member of St. Edith Stein Catholic Church, in Katy.

He is survived by his parents, Jorge and Diana Tristan of Cypress; sister, Georgia Ann Tristan; grandparents, Martina Gonzalez, Alfonso Tristan, and Maria Nora Escobar; his fur baby, Chloe; as well as numerous aunt, uncles, cousins, and many friends.

Despite years of physical hardship, he smiled throughout these eighteen years, bringing joy and happiness to his family and everyone he touched.

A memorial mass will be celebrated at

St. Edith Stein Catholic Church, in Katy,
