Support for Mom's Final Fight Against Cancer

Donation protected
Hello everyone, I'm starting this fundraiser for my mom. In 2022 my mom was diagnosed with nueroendocrine cancer (lung cancer). She started chemotherapy and radiation treatments almost immediately with the only guarantee being that she would live longer. She knew she was never going to be cured but decided to fight. She would then start immunotherapy every 3 weeks. Day by day and week by week we watched as she became weaker and sicker. But she didn't give up she continued the fight not for herself but for her family. She fought and still continues to fight this horrible monster called Cancer. A month ago we were told her treatments were no longer working at preventing the cancer from spreading. I felt defeated for her, everything this woman has been through in the past 2 years felt like it was all for nothing. The words that came out of her mouth were"I want to keep fighting, my family needs me". And she's right we do so very much. But unfortunately my mom entered hosparus care the very same day. We were told we had 1 year left with her. We had plans to make as many memories in the short time we had left. That was until we were devastated again. A few short weeks later we were told her body is giving up and that we had weeks left with her. She didn't accept that, she said she was going to fight and prove them wrong. That was 1 week ago, now we're told we have a few short days. During all of this my dad has not left her side. Every hospital stay, every doctor visit, every diaper change, every sleepless night, and every bath. With the responsibility of being her full-time caregiver he had to work less and less which meant money got slimmer for them. Life insurance was never an option for us because of her terminal diagnosis. Now we are having to plan for remaining bills from this battle and a beautiful memorial to celebrate the beautiful person that everyone loved so much. All funds will be used for her memorial as well as any debts that are left unpaid.

UPDATE!!!
Mom lost her battle today 6/17/24. She fought as hard as she could until the end. She didn't give up, her body did. Thank you everyone for the donations and prayers!
