Support for Samnang Chim's Family in Grief
Donation protected
Dear friends and family,
It is with a heavy heart that we announce the sudden passing of our mom, Samnang Chim. She survived two strokes, endured months of physical therapy, and was on her way to recovery before her heart suddenly stopped.
Through the grace of God, she was able to spend her last few weeks at home surrounded by loved ones.
Anyone who has had the privilege to meet her would speak of her kind, nurturing spirit. She was a selfless and generous woman. The love she provided was unmatched. You can count on her to give comfort, a shoulder to cry on, a listening ear, or at the very least—a home cooked meal.
Family was her priority. She was a mother first and foremost, and would go above and beyond to make sure we were always taken care of. She was our guiding light and the backbone of our family. The thought of life without her present is unimaginable.
Samnang is survived by her two children, Sivornne and Sovann Mony. Her son in law, Danny Say, and her grandson, Jin Say, and former husband, Mony Kheav. Her long-awaited dream of having a grandchild had finally come true. She was able to meet and hold her first grandson before her passing.
Please consider donating if you are able to do so. We would be very grateful for any contributions during this difficult time. Thank you.
