I don’t even know where to start, but I do know what I can do and that is write from my heart as a father. If you don’t know what happened, please click the news story in the links provided. This is about the loss of a child due to a hit and run by a man driving a vehicle into my friend's Morristown, TN home and taking the life of his 18 month old son while he slept in his crib.
Andres Chilel was brought here by his family in his early teens to provide him with a better life. He came to work for us 5 yrs ago as a young man and we have watched him grow into a hard-working, dedicated man who does all he can to provide a life for his family. He and his family have experienced the inconceivable, a parent’s worst nightmare and are now experiencing unimaginable grief.
My heart breaks for this mother and father having to lay their baby to rest at such a young age of 18 months. As a father, I can not even imagine this and how I could go on with life.
