Support for the Copeland’s NICU Journey

Donation protected
Luke and Lindsey Copeland are expecting a baby girl in March. At the beginning of January,  Lindsey went for a routine prenatal visit that ended with heartbreaking news.  They found out that their daughter will be born with a congenital defect, called Duodenal Atresia. This was a complete surprise, as everything on the 20 week anatomy scan looked perfect. Since the diagnosis, their weeks have been filled with appointment after appointment, as they work to learn everything they can about their daughter’s condition.  There are still many unknowns, but what they do know is that their daughter will have surgery shortly after birth to correct her defect and then spend some weeks in the NICU.

As you can guess all of this news comes with some financial stress. Medical expenses not covered by insurance, lodging for the family while their daughter is at the hospital in Charlotte, gas, and meals, are all things we don’t want Luke and Lindsey to be burdened with so they can focus on the care of their baby.

Thank you for your contribution and continued prayers for their growing family.
