Support for the Dodge Family, COVID-19 Loss
Donation protected
Our family is devastated due to the unexpected loss of a loving husband, Lawrence W. Dodge, Father of 3, Grandfather of 6. After 17 days of a hard fought battle.
On April 20, he passed away due to “complications of the Corona virus -COVID-19.” He was the sole provider, in taking care of our lives. It happened so fast, that there were no arrangements financially, in order to take care of the mass amount of bills & my mom and dads home. Dad had been receiving retirement monies, which currently my mom, Cathy Dodge is not able to receive at this time. There are also legal fees as well as medical expenses that need to be paid in order for us to get things in order. My mom is struggling to stay afloat, seeing as though she is retired as well & unable to work.
Lawrence was a retired FAA Air Traffic Controller, US Merchant Marine, & Lt. in the Naval Reserve. He worked exponentially hard to make everyone’s life better. He made the perfect life for his family.
His whole life revolved around family, and he was a role model Husband, Parent & Grandpa. He always knew how to make everybody laugh & be happy.
Prior to being admitted to the hospital, he made a routine daily of walking his dog Diesel, 2 miles, as well as playing ball with his border collie, Cassie May.
He was also working to remove scrub oak roots to make a sled run for his grandkids & filling in a pond with over 100 wheel barrows of dirt. He was always active, and always ready to have fun.
Lawrence will be greatly missed by those whose lives he touched with his kindness & love
