Support for the Torrisi Family

On behalf of the Torrisi Family we have created a gofundme to assist in supporting the family of Leigh Torrisi, who tragically lost his life on the 13th of November. Leigh along side his wife Beth, ran the Classy Cafe in Wauchope and was known to all for his kindness, cheerful and cheeky manner and easy smile that lit up a room. Leigh’s sudden passing has left a huge hole for his family, and the greater Wauchope community. We are seeking donations to support Beth and their four children Brock, Kaitlyn, Ashy and Zeky in this difficult time. This will allow Beth to take the time she needs away from work to focus on caring for herself and their children, and to lessen the pressure of now taking on both roles in running their business and home.

We are also planning to purchase and place a bench at the wauchope skate park as a memorial to Leigh, who loved to skate and was a mentor to many local kids. Forever known as the “fun and cool dad” to not only his own kids but all those around him that he gladly took under his wing. This is where Leigh felt most alive and free, and we couldn’t think of a more prefect location to be able to go and honourably reminisce our memories of Leigh and feel close to him.

Any donation big or small would be so gratefully appreciated to help support Beth and the kids in this heartbreakingly most devastating time.
