Support for Vicky Lutgen's Funeral Expenses

Our mom & grandma (Vicky Lutgen) called this morning to get a ride to the hospital due to stomach pains. She said she couldn’t breathe or walk and felt as if her hip was going to explode. Her ride got to her house to bring her in and she was unable to make it to the vehicle so they called an ambulance. She got to the ER and had tests done to which they found she had internal bleeding and lost over half of her blood into her abdomen. We think this was related to a recent surgery to open up her veins & built up scar tissue. They were giving transfusions and called for life flight. Life flight arrived and at the same time they were working on gettting her sent out to get a mesh put in to stop the bleeding her heart stopped. They gave her CPR and 100% oxygen and got her heart pumping on its own after 27 minutes. We got to the hospital and got to see her before they got her on the helicopter. At this point her heart was beating on its own and she was breathing on her own and they felt she was stable enough to make it to Duluth for the surgery where they were all geared up and ready to go when she arrived. She slowly started responding before she left, squeezing the docs hand and opened her eyes when asked. They had 2 options- 1 was to send her by ambulance so if her heart stopped on the way they could do CPR- but ambulance would take about 3 hours to get to Duluth. The 2nd option was to go by helicopter where it would only take 40 minutes but if her heart stopped they wouldn’t be able to preform CPR until they got to Duluth, the doctor figured the helicopter would be the best way to go. We saw her and all left to head to Duluth to meet her. She then coded as she got to Duluth. They preformed CPR for another 50 minutes and couldn’t get her to have a BP on her own so called it. We got to see her one last time and said our goodbyes. We are now left with funeral expenses and figuring out what/when to have a service for her.
She was the most caring and giving person I’d ever met and she will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Any help, thoughts & prayers are greatly appreciated. Thank you for your time!
