Support G's Family in Their Time of Need

Donation protected
Thank you all so much for your donations, prayers, shares, and support for G’s family. I will be handing the donations over to his wife, Colleen, in the coming days, but will leave this open should others want to contribute. Again, thank you for supporting his family in this terrible time.

It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that we share the loss of our valued coworker, Gareth Lloyd. Gareth was a beloved husband, father, son, and friend to many. Knowing the financial burden his sudden death brings to his family, we would like to raise money for G’s wife and daughter to help ease the stress of this difficult time.

Any support you are able to provide is greatly appreciated. It is in these times that we can all come together to support each other and make it through. Please keep G’s family in your thoughts and prayers.

Gareth ‘G’ Lloyd, 40, of Vanderbilt, Perry Twp., passed away Sunday, September 22, 2024. Born May 3, 1984, in Pittsburgh, PA, he was the son of Harold and Barbara Shirey Lloyd, who survive and reside in Dawson. A lifelong resident of the Perryopolis area, Gareth dedicated his professional career to working as a logistics manager for BakerHughes in Mt. Pleasant. He graduated from Frazier High School in the Class of 2002 and earned a bachelor’s degree in business from the University of Pittsburgh. An avid outdoorsman, Gareth enjoyed hunting and fishing and cherished his time spent at the family cabin in Sinnemahoning. He was a member of the Sinnemahoning Sportsmen’s Club and the Perry Sokols Club. Additionally, Gareth was known for his exceptional skills as a mechanic.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Colleen Clem Lloyd, to whom he would have celebrated 13 years in November, and daughter, Sienna Lloyd, who was the little love of his life. He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, L.P. & Ann Shirey; paternal grandparents, Harold G. & Elizabeth J. Lloyd; two aunts, Brenda Shirey Smith and Kathy Lloyd Wilson; and father-in-law, Cary Clem.
