Support Hattie White's Homegoing Journey

Donation protected
Hello Friends & Family,

In March of this year, my Aunt Hattie White was struck down by a massive stroke while in her home. This stroke left her paralyzed on one side with no speech or ability to swallow. Her initial prognosis was somewhat optimistic, but within just a few weeks, she hit another roadblock in her recovery when bed sores caused an infection to set up in her bones. Eventually, this became more than she could overcome on her own and she lost her battle on Sunday, June 23rd, 2024.

As we look to begin to organize her homegoing, we've been made aware of the fact that there was little to no provisions available. For various reasons, she was under huge financial strains before she died and leveraged her insurance and home to begin to pay for her basic needs.

And although married with two adult children, circumstances such as serious illness and unemployment are severely limiting what her immediate family can do on their own.

With focus solely on my Aunt Hattie and the impact that she's had on us all, I'm starting this page for her to do what she couldn't do for herself. Please join me.
