Hercules A. Young, a Vietnam veteran, has passed away in Miami, Florida, at the age of 85.

He grew up in Florida City and Coconut Grove, attended Mays Senior High School, and was a track and field superstar. After his military experience, he later joined the staff of Baptist Hospital and meritoriously served as a dedicated employee for 30 years, retiring as a respiratory therapist.
